New Workshop

I haven been invited by Ania Mokrzycka to teach a workshop with Sotiris Gonis as part of her project at Shropshire Youth Club.

JOURNEY INTO MARK MAKING with Ramona Guntert and Sotiris Gonis

Ramona and Sotiris invite us to create a very special artwork for the last workshop of the series. Thinking about mark making, we will go out with a large piece of fabric and search for different materials we can use to draw, write and stain upon it, using it as a backdrop for our activity. We will use found objects, makeshift instruments and our own bodies and voices to take on a play of becoming different characters that we encountered in nature over the past 3 workshops. This final act of our gatherings will bring together all of our perspectives and ways of making art as well as working collaboratively with and within the natural world. 

We also invite you to ask friends and families to join us at the end of the workshop to admire your creations!
