Flysch (originated from German word fliessen; to flow) is growing upwards from deep water into solid rock forms. This image explores the idea of liquidity and void of a photograph using layered materials and the idea of the alchemical process.  

This Work was inspired and begun during a residency at Aldama Fabre Gallery and in collaboration with Material Driven.
