FEELING THE GROUND
Self-published, 2023
with Sotiris Gonis
Feeling the Ground is a two part workshop, led by Sotiris Gonis and Ramona Guntert in collaboration with Ainalaiyn Space, focusing on different analogue processes. How analogue affects perception and draws attention inside while simultaneously connecting one with the environment and its elements. Through that, the workshops will introduce participants to new approaches of exploring the process of making, using sound recording, analogue photographic material and host a reading group. Gonis and Guntert have worked collectively towards a publication, gathering the responses and experiences from the participants during the time spent together; letting the process lead them, exploring new ways of being inspired by others but also reflecting on their individual approach. The publication launched on 16th March 2023 with an evening of performances by artist Ilyas Kassam and independent and artist-run publisher Folium.

And here are some images of the magazine. Thank you Louise Long for putting it in conversation with others.
