Aga’s text functions as part of a double document—paired with a series of photographs, it forms an inventory of a habitat that is both abandoned and enduring. The images, comprising the other half of the publication, might be seen as an alien perspective: an eye that perceives no hierarchy between organic and synthetic matter. It does not favor the living over the inanimate. It stops registering the boundary between life and death, between fiction and reality.

Its smooth and slippery.

It smells of wet creatures. Imagine the surface I stand on. 

Their whistles echoed across the fields.
